Job Description:
Sales Team Management:
Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing sales team to ensure they are equipped with the knowledge and skills to excel.
Provide ongoing coaching and performance evaluations to support individual and team growth.
Foster a positive and motivated sales culture by setting clear expectations and rewarding achievements.
Sales Strategy and Planning:
Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets and dealership objectives.
Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive activities to identify opportunities for growth.
Collaborate with the marketing department to create effective promotions and campaigns.
Customer Service Excellence:
Ensure the sales team delivers an exceptional customer experience at every stage of the sales process.
Handle escalated customer concerns and ensure prompt resolution to maintain customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Inventory Management:
Work closely with the inventory manager to maintain a well-stocked and diverse inventory of vehicles.
Monitor inventory turnover rates and take actions to optimize inventory levels.
Sales Performance Analysis:
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and sales metrics regularly to identify areas for improvement.
Implement data-driven strategies to enhance sales performance and productivity.
Compliance and Reporting:
Ensure the sales team adheres to all relevant laws, regulations, and dealership policies.
Prepare and submit sales reports and forecasts to senior management as required.
Experience/Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
Proven experience as a Sales Manager or similar leadership role within the automotive industry.
Strong understanding of automotive sales processes and industry best practices.
Exceptional leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficient in using CRM software and sales management tools.
Results-driven with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Knowledge of automotive finance and dealership operations is a plus.
Experience in Toyota, Nissan or Honda are a must.
M-F 8am-9pm, Saturday 8am-7pm, Sunday 12pm-5pm
