Service Advisor / Service Writer

I am looking for 2 x Service Advisor/ Writers based in Kearney, must have front counter Service advisor/ Service writer experience with automotive/trucks or RV’s, to start work as soon as possible.

 Job description :

• Identifies RV problems and services by listening to customer’s description of symptoms
• Verifies warranty and service contract coverage by examining records and papers, explaining provisions and exclusions
• Develops estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labour, calculating customer’s payment, including deductibles
• Prepares repair orders (RO)
• Handles customer complaints and maintains high customer satisfaction standards
• Periodically checks on the progress of the vehicle during servicing and contacts the customer as needed to keep them up to date with their RV’s status.

 Experience/qualifications :

• High School Diploma or GED.
• RV Service Advisor experience is preferred but not required
• 1-2 years of Service Advisor experience in Automotive, RV, Powersports, Marine or other related fields is a plus!
• Able to navigate a computer, internet, and email.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable and strong work ethic.
• A positive attitude, good work ethic, and professional appearance
• Must be able to function in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver license in the state that you will work and a good driving record.
